Each mini-exploration is a stand-alone adventure that can be played as a one-shot or placed into your desert-themed campaign. They have been played at home and at convention tables, lasting from four to eight hours, and each has helpful information to range play from levels 5/8/10.
The Curse of Blightwood Hollow
Drawn by whispers of an ancient, powerful artifact, your exploration company journeys to Blightwood Hollow - a deadwood forest still standing in the marsh pits of the desert shoreline. Legends speak of a forgotten ruin hidden deep within the deadwood, and you’ve found it. But now, you're trapped.
The stone walls around you hum with secrets - warnings carved in a dialect long forgotten. Do they guide you toward escape or lure you further into peril? Every step brings you closer to unimaginable wealth... or unspeakable danger. Will you risk everything for a chance at fortune, or will the curse of the ruin consume you before you find your way out?
The Heart of the Desert
You are The Original Company - the first to travel through the Moon Gate in search of artifacts in the Desert Realm of Damaz. You have not much more than your packs and a map, and you have been tasked with finding an ancient magical artifact called The Heart of Damaz. The jewel is rumored to grant the bearer the ability to locate the Lost Gods of the desert, and harness their power.
According to the ancient texts, the sacred temple where the jewel lies hidden disappeared during a catastrophic magical event known as The Break. This cataclysm unleashed a series of devastating quakes, causing the temple to plunge into a deep fissure, lost to the ages and buried beneath layers of rock and sand.
Now, the jewel's hiding place lies in ruin, its secrets guarded by a maze of perilous traps and loyal guardians. The Heart of Damaz waits for those bold (or foolish) enough to claim it.
The Shadows Below
The Moon Gate Exploration Co. travel through the gate, finding themselves in the burning desert sands between an impassable canyon and a distant mountain range. They travel through an ocean of sand dunes as the desert comes to life, driving them in a race across the desert toward an ancient temple ruin. They may have found shelter for the night, but they have stumbled into a situation just as deadly. The temple is already filled with stranded travelers - and the unseen creatures that drag them into the shadows during the night. There will be no escape until the evils lurking in the dark are stopped, and the shadows below are put to rest.....
Fortune & Glory
Travel through the Moon Gate to the Deserts of Damaz, where a buried temple hides the treasures left behind in the sanctuary of the Lost Gods. Dead Pirate Robbers
You are dead pirates of the Caribbean - and your souls are long lost to the salty sea. You have nothing left to lose. The plunder of the high seas is yours, as are the bounties offered by royalty.

Henchmen Heist
